         Once you have changed your lifestyle to a vegetarian diet, you will quickly realise how important it is, and over time you will reap the benefits.

        You will soon notice an increased well being and positive changes in your health. People often arguing against vegetarianism will say that if you do not eat meat then you will become lethargic, but what about if you do eat meat? They do not focus so much on that aspect because as we all know, meat is high in saturated fats, these fats are needed in small amounts to keep enough fat on the body, however if you have too much of them a side effect could be lethargy and eventually weight gain. They may then say that of course you have to eat a balanced diet and not have too much of it. Most meat-free alternatives such as the Quorn range have only 3 % of saturated fats in them. So vegetarians in retrospect can have a better life by having more of what they like without having to worry too much about their health.
 
 
Money 
 
        Money is essential if you want a good life. Therefore if you switch to a vegetarian diet you could save money because you would not be buying meat which is expensive.
            People on a vegetarian diet  often notice that their illnesses clear more quickly, neccessitating less trips to the doctor and less medications.
      Vegetarians and vegans obviously try to buy non-leather clothing, shoes and accessories, less fur and suede. See Clothing and Footwear for more information. Although there are designer vegan and vegetarian companies, there are many alternatives that are cheaper.  
 
 
 
Conscience
 
 
           A life without meat should improve your lifestyle and conscience, knowing that you do not need to kill animals in order to eat a healthy balanced diet.
 
 
 
 
Time Saving
 
 
       The time that is taken to cook and prepare meat is a lot more than is needed to cook and prepare vegetarian foods because you are not dealing with flesh, so there is less bacteria content and less chance for multiplication of bacteria, therefore the cooking time and preparation time of vegetarian foods can be greatly reduced. This means if you were to have a vegetarian lifestyle, you could have more time on your hands for other things.
